When your on a holiday...
Here's to a first blog post! Coming into 2012 I'm really glad I made it to another year, a few months ago I thought I was just dying a slow and somewhat painful death... 2012 give me optimism.
Dear 2012,
Be good to me and the wonderful people that surround me. Give me hope and a glimmer of perspective while I coast on my journey of figuring out a new purpose to life. My career goals must change this year, I would like to start freelancing, baking more and being less crabby. While the holidays were fun this year, it has taken me a few days to feel rested but I'm glad I pushed my way through it and accomplished a lot of goals I had for myself. The past year and experiences with my diagnosis and personal life has left my heart pretty bare, but I'm hoping this new year will allow me to open up again and find new and exciting things to be passionate about. Allow my bad days to be few and far between and allow my good days to be used for productivity and purpose!
